AHHH, ok, thanks for the info. Am familiar with a subsoiler, even though they aren't used in my area. Is teh term Ox a family thing, or a regional thing? Just curious about the origin.

well here in illinois it is the first year we are gonna get all the corn planted before the end of may and everyone round here is glad that it hasnt rained like it has over the last two years just hope that now it doesnt turn off raining every other day

yep it has rained atleast 3 inches in the last two days but we got our corn planted but mudded bout 20 acres in but got it all done. we had some that was just coming uo today and some that i could see from the road is alreay drowned out but owell still glad to get done before may for the first time in 4 years........thank you god!!!!!!!!

well one was 21 and he was a smarta%% and didnt like me driving a tractor while he had to fill the planter and with that u sit alot and its usually hot so dad gave him his check and sent him home and the other he got mad because the bearings went out on the tilloll that HE was usuing and dad told him to change them and he got it took apart and said he wasnt doing it and said it wasnt his fault but he was the one using it and drivine like the people at FS do and dad sent him home to...so then he called another guy that wanted to work so here we are one less hand and i got stucck puting the tilloll back together...imagine that. and johndeerejunkie i tell him hes full of it all the time. Haha

Yeah, usually when I was working on farms growin up, it was usually just me, the guys son(or daughter on one farm) and the farmer, except during baling season.

need a good half inch rian on our corn it would really help it. finishing up anhydrous in the next couple days. baled some hay last week around 200 bale of fescue for my grandpa

I've planted 62 acres of cotton on Friday and next week it's going to be 60 acres of sesame and then 70 or so acres of more cotton. Then harvest is approximately 2 1/2 weeks unless more planting comes up...

you can harvest cotton in 4 weeks? or are you referring to wheat?
